Firearms Transfer Service
A person may transfer a firearm to an unlicensed resident of their state, provided the transferor does not know or have reasonable cause to believe the transferee is prohibited from receiving or possessing firearms under federal law.
Generally, to lawfully transfer a firearm to an unlicensed person who resides out of state, the firearm must be shipped to a federal firearms licensee (FFL) within the transferee’s state of residence. This is the situation when you purchase a firearm online. The transferee may receive the firearm from the FFL upon completing an ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check.
Florida statute requires a completed background check before a Federal Firearm Licensee (FFL) may transfer a firearm to a non-licensed person.
We will act as your transferee and will aid you in completing your AFT Form 4473 and processing your background request.
